These Terms and Conditions outline the details of our booking services, including procedures for modifying, canceling, or obtaining refunds for your bookings, and the payment options available. Whenever "Terms and Conditions" is written with capital letters, it refers to this document specifically. When in lowercase, it refers to the terms of third parties, such as operators or other entities.

Using Our App and Services

Through our website www.jurnyon.com and our mobile applications available on iOS and Android (collectively referred to as "apps"), you can access information such as train timetables, ticket prices, and make bookings using our “booking service.” Before downloading the app, ensure it is compatible with your device by checking the relevant app store listings.

You must be at least 16 years old to use our booking service. If you are 16 or 17, you’ll need parental or guardian consent. We reserve the right to refuse access to our website, apps, or booking services if we believe you're underage or find any other valid reason.

Please note that while we are an official agent for train operators, we do not manage the actual train services. We are solely responsible for the booking service as outlined in these Terms and Conditions. By using our service, even if it's just for browsing, you agree to have read and understood these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

We strive to provide accurate results for ticket prices, schedules, and other data. However, the timetables, journey information, platform data, and fares come directly from the operators, and we cannot guarantee the absolute accuracy of these details.

Booking Tickets

Currently, we offer advance tickets for Transport for Wales trains. Prices displayed during a search may change before your final payment page, as they are subject to real-time updates from the operators. If the price changes, we will notify you before you complete your purchase.

Subscription Levels and Discounts

You can subscribe to different levels and enjoy discounts:

  • Silver - 10% discount
  • Gold - 15% discount
  • Platinum - 35% discount
  • Student - 35% discount

These discounts are applied before payment based on your subscription level, and no additional discounts can be combined with these.

The discount level is based on the miles traveled in the prior month and the payment of the subscription fee related to that discount level. See our website for the latest fees. www.jurnyon.com

When purchasing tickets for groups for the same journey, the discount is only applicable to one of the adult tickets. All other tickets purchased will have the advance ticket discount applied, subject to availability.

Loyalty Points

For every 10 miles traveled, you’ll earn 1 loyalty point. Each loyalty point is equal to GBP £0.01. These points unlock various offers and benefits, which you can view on our website at www.jurnyon.com

Subscription Tiers & Travel Mileage
  • Silver : Available to all users when they create an account, offering a 10% discount.
  • Gold : Achievable by traveling over 250 miles in a month, giving you a 15% discount for the following month.
  • Platinum : For those who travel over 300 miles in a month, offering a 35% discount for the subsequent month.
  • Student : This is for students with a valid student registration, offering a 35% discount on advance tickets

If you don’t meet the required mileage for a given level, you will be downgraded to the corresponding subscription level in the following month.

Creating an Account

To book tickets, you need to subscribe to our service via our app. We may refuse to create an account or revoke access for any legitimate reason. When setting up your account, you are responsible for providing accurate information, securing your password, and keeping your account details up to date.

By creating an account, you agree that:

  • You will only use our booking service for personal use.
  • You will book tickets only for yourself or others who have given you permission.
  • You’ll use your own payment card or have the right to use the card you provide.
Tickets

Currently, we offer only advance tickets for Transport for Wales trains within their network. The full network can be found at the following link https://tfw.wales/places/our-network-map

These advanced tickets are non-refundable unless your train is canceled or significantly delayed. You can find more details on the conditions of these tickets on the National Rail website. https://www.nationalrail.co.uk/travel-information/your-rights-and-obligations-as-a-passenger/

etickets

When you book, your eticket will be sent to you via email as a PDF. Make sure your mobile device can open PDFs and has internet access. The eticket is valid for a single journey and must not be altered or duplicated. Any misuse may lead to the invalidation of the ticket and denial of travel.

You will also be able to access the eticket barcode within the JurnyOn app.

Adult and Children’s Tickets
  • Adult Tickets : Available for passengers aged 16 and over. Each subscription discount applies to one adult ticket.
  • Children’s Tickets : At the present time, children’s tickets cannot be purchased via JurnyOn.
Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods in GBP (£):

  • Visa, Mastercard, Maestro
  • PayPal
  • Apple Pay
  • Google Pay

Please note that we do not accept cash or cheques. Once your booking is confirmed via email, your order is complete.

Fees

Currently, we do not charge booking fees, but we may pass on any fees charged by the operators. You will be informed of any additional fees before finalizing your purchase.

Changes, Refunds, Delays & Cancellations
  • Refunds : Advance tickets cannot be refunded unless the train is canceled or delayed. In such cases, please contact the train operator.
  • Changes : You can change your travel date and / or time but must keep the same origin, destination and route.
    • For all changes for advance tickets please call TfW’s Customer Relations on 03333 211 202 & select option 2.
    • Changes can be made up to departure of your first booked service.
    • Any changes made to advance tickets after your first booked service has departed are invalid.
    • Please refer to Transport for Wales’s T&Cs (https://tfw.wales/help-and-contact/rail/refunds#advance).
    • If you are changing an Advance ticket after 18:00 the day before you travel a fee may be applicable for amending your journey
    • You may have to pay extra if there’s a difference in price between your current ticket and the new ticket.
    • The price of the new advanced ticket will exclude the discount applied to your subscription.
  • Delays : If your journey is delayed, compensation maybe available through the operator’s Delay Repay scheme. Please refer to the relevant train operator’s website. For Transport for Wales (TfW) please refer to Delay Repay | TfW
Linked Travel & Third-Party Products

We do not arrange travel packages, so the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018 do not apply. If you purchase third-party products through our booking service, your contract will be with that provider, and their terms and conditions will apply.

Acceptance of Terms and Conditions

By using our service, you confirm that:

  • You fully understand and accept these Terms and Conditions.
  • You agree to pay for any bookings you make through our service.
  • If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you should stop using our service immediately.

These Terms may be updated periodically. By accepting them, you also acknowledge that there is no employment or agency relationship between you and us.

Liability

We act as an agent for operators and do not provide the transportation services directly. Therefore, we are only responsible for the booking service itself. You are financially liable for all bookings made through your account.

JurnyOn will not be responsible for losses or damages caused by delays or cancellations, including missed connections. Our liability will not be limited in cases of death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Your Responsibilities

By using our booking service, you confirm that:

  • You and the individuals for whom you're booking are not subject to sanctions or restrictions that would prohibit the use of our service.
  • You will protect your devices from potential security risks by using antivirus software.

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

  • Copying, distributing, or disclosing any part of the Site in any medium, including without limitation by any automated or non-automated "scraping."
  • Using any automated system, including without limitation "robots," "spiders," "offline readers," etc., to access the Site in a manner that sends more request messages to the JurnyOn servers than a human can reasonably produce in the same period of time by using a conventional on-line web browser.
  • Transmitting spam, chain letters, or other unsolicited email.
  • Attempting to interfere with, compromise the system integrity or security or decipher any transmissions to or from the servers running the Site.
  • Taking any action that imposes, or may impose at our sole discretion, an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on our infrastructure.
  • Uploading invalid data, viruses, worms, or other software agents through the Site.
  • Collecting or harvesting any personally identifiable information, including account names, from the Site.
  • Using the Site for any commercial solicitation purposes.
  • Impersonating another person or otherwise misrepresenting your affiliation with a person or entity, conducting fraud, hiding or attempting to hide your identity.
Intellectual Property

You may use our website and apps for personal use only. Any copying, alteration, or publication of our content without our permission is prohibited.

Disputes and Governing Laws

All disputes relating to these Terms will be governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. The courts of the UK will have exclusive jurisdiction over these matters.

By purchasing a ticket through us, you agree to the National Rail Conditions of Travel, which outline the minimum rights and service levels you are entitled to as a passenger.
